I have included the owners manual copy on CD-ROM for similar brook stone Osim isqueez warm. On top there are three buttons.

There is a main power switch on the back. You sit on a chair behind it, with your legs dangling into it. There is a fine print label on the back showing how to get out if it would somehow lose power while working. One shuts down and opens the mechanism, allowing you to put your feet in take them out.

Third button sets heat to auto-hi-lo. When it is started grips and massages both.

The kneading mechanism is rubber with lots of give, and will work over a wide range sizes no adjustment necessary.

Another button allows you to select and start levels of massage intensity. This heavy duty machine gives your feet and ankles a thorough kneading massage, with optional heat.

Asking questions in advance is recommended, you should never assume anything not actually stated the listing. I am not particularly a fan of massage machines.
