The heat feature of this machine is meant to maintain heat, and does not heat up cold water. This model features rollers in the bottom of the basin for extra massage for tired feet. There are a couple of small wear spots on the top cover of the machine, but these are not that noticeable and in no way effect how well the machine operates. 14 inches wide, including the edges, and inches long, including the edges.

Measures 6 inches tall including the feet. Up for your consideration is a very nice, Homedics, foot spa.
